How long will it take for my order to ship? 
We process orders within 2-7 business days and notify you when your order has shipped. Standard shipping is free for orders over £50 and takes 7-14 business days. Standard shipping is also available for free for orders over £50 and takes 7-14 business days. You can track your order using the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email. Contact us at help@your-localgirl.com if you haven't received your order within 30 days.

Will I receive customs/import duties? 
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We are not responsible for any customs and import duty charges. 

Your Local Girl has no control over these charges and we can't tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. Before placing your order, we advise contacting your local customs office for information about the current fees so you won't be caught by surprise.


What is your refund policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, including tags and packaging. Eligible returns will receive a full refund, minus the £4 initial shipping cost.

Use our returns portal to get a prepaid return shipping label. Alternatively, you can arrange your own return shipping and email us for our returns address. Please insure this is tracked for your own convenience.  

Please note that for International returns, you will need to pay for your return,  you can email us for our return address. Please use a trackable service and keep your proof of postage receipt until after your refund is processed.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at help@your-localgirl.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. Once we receive this information, we will send you a returns label and issue a refund upon receiving the item. Alternatively, if you prefer to arrange the return shipping yourself, you can pay for your own label/postage and email us for our returns address. Kindly ensure that the return is tracked for a smoother process.

Can I return or exchange an item? 
We are sorry to say we can’t offer exchanges, but you can send your item back for a refund and place a new order for a different size. If you have any questions about sizing, fit, or fabric, please reach out to our customer service before placing your order. 

Why was my order refunded?
Your order may be refunded without prior notice for the following reasons: 
 1. Out of Stock: Occasionally, items may become unavailable after your order is placed due to high demand or unforeseen inventory discrepancies. In such cases, we refund the amount paid for the out-of-stock item promptly. 
2. Lost Parcel: Despite our best efforts to ensure timely delivery, parcels can occasionally be lost or misplaced by the delivery company. If there is no further tracking information available and a reasonable amount of time has passed since the expected delivery date, we initiate a refund to ensure you are not inconvenienced by the delay.
3. We're unable to ship to your region/address.
Please note that while we strive to minimise such occurrences, they can happen due to factors beyond our control. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

How do I know which size fits me? 
Please take note that our items are sourced from various suppliers, and therefore, the size charts may differ. To ensure the right fit, please review the size chart that is available in the item description before making your selection. If you have any specific questions please contact us at help@your-localgirl.com. Please be aware that items lacking a sizing guide or explicitly labelled as "regular fit" in the description indicate that you should select your standard size.

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift wrapping services. Nevertheless, we ensure that every order is packaged neatly and securely for a delightful unboxing experience.
